It fascinates me how much is available online. Project Runeberg publishes Nordic literature with expired copyright as pictures and transcripts on their site runeberg.org. My favorite is the classic dictionary Nordisk Familjebok in the editions for 1876-1926.
This is a book of letters by Matthew Consett sent from his journey through Sweden, Swedish Lapland, Finland, and Denmark.
