My office is on the very street where emigrants awaited departure. I’ve spent years guiding their descendants around the world to connect with their Swedish roots.
For a long time, that meant writing detailed reports, regularly at 80 pages for one person. Everything that went into them painted a vivid picture of the subjects and were vital to fulfill both Swedish and international standards.
But my expertise is better used on other things than citations and formalia. I’ve ditched the elaborate reports.
